Kargo Marketplace
Gathering the creatives and metrics all in one place.

problem
Kargo is a growing advertising agency. With the company expanding, the old platform Creative Suite is reaching its limit. Kargo is thinking of designing a new dashboard that can manage the creatives and impact metrics all in one place.
solution
Bridging the communication gap, creating a multi-channel platform for designing, performance monitoring, project tracking and task managing. The new platform Kargo Marketplace is designed with performance metrics, product catalogs and creatives all combined in one place.

Define the Problem
Information is everywhere
No matter the role- whether designer, account manager, or data engineer- every team at Kargo is ultimately working toward the same goal. Yet the current workflow is fragmented across multiple platforms: designers rely on Asana, engineers work within Jira, while client communication is scattered through emails and external channels. This disconnected ecosystem creates repetitive communication, reduces visibility across teams, and slows down overall collaboration and efficiency.
The Solution
By bridging communication gaps and harnessing the power of visualisation, the proposed platform creates a more connected and transparent workflow experience for Kargo teams. The solution brings together project tracking, task management, performance monitoring, and collaborative design tools into a single multi-channel ecosystem tailored specifically for Kargo’s internal processes.
Instead of navigating between disconnected applications, teams can work within one unified platform that encourages cross-functional collaboration, improves project visibility, and streamlines decision-making. The result is a more efficient workflow that reduces friction, aligns departments, and enables teams to focus on delivering impactful work.
Research
01 Collect 💬
How many tools an agency needs to get an ad live?

During a survey conducted with 15 employees across Kargo, I identified the platforms they relied on most frequently and the amount of time spent navigating between them. The findings revealed that a significant portion of the working day was consumed by context switching across multiple applications, ultimately fragmenting productivity and reducing workflow efficiency.

This chart was developed from conversations with current Kargo employees and highlights the complexity of existing cross-department workflows. Many participants noted that because each department operates within its own systems and processes, tracking overall project progression on a single platform becomes extremely challenging, resulting in limited transparency and disconnected collaboration.
The single most critical factor was the size of the company. Because the larger the company,

The
bigger the teams, stakeholders, clients, customers >>> complexity goes up and efficiency goes downThe
more toolsthere are to maintain the conversations >>> time spent on each tool increases

02 The existing product 📖
To better define the issues within the current ecosystem, I analysed the product pages that had received the highest volume of negative feedback. This research helped identify several recurring usability and workflow challenges that the existing products currently face:
